Oxcide™ is a unique chemical with powerful oxidative properties derived from salt and proprietary electrochemical treatment process creating pure HOCl (hypochlorous acid).  Normally associated with Chlorine created HOCl, this unique formulation rejects the sodium removing the dissolved solids producing very unique chemical properties.  

Normal scale forms a hard, insoluble and interlocking network which plugs plumbing, interferes with heat transfer and damages equipment. Oxcide™ changes the chemical structure of scale and dissolves Calcium and Magnesium salts.  Common Sanitizers such as Sodium Hypochlorite, Peracetic Acid, Chlorine Gas, Hydrogen Peroxide and so on are unable to penetrate scale to kill the associated Biofilm.  Oxcide™ gradually removes the scale removing the harboring site for biofilm.  Through this process the biofilm is also gradually removed as scale and biofilm co-exist.  This gradual cleaning and conditioning action translates into a wide range of benefits throughout the production area.
